A major photo-comp of no less than 365 components to create a pound symbol as a massed group of dentists. A simple 3d image was used to work out shooting angles and camera position then all the figures were photographed individually.

A major retouching exercise here to place the kiosk in a suitable environment. Due to the limitations of the original location the shot is rather wide angle so, to match angles, the background was a complex construction. The kiosk itself, being of a mirror like finish had to be rerendered using 3d software.

The brief here was to simply supply silhouetted image but the subjects hair against the greenery certainly proved a challenge which I believe no software solution could have achieved.
